WaterIQ Technologies was contacted by the <\/span>Stone Eagle home-owners association <\/span><\/strong>located in Palm Desert, California, in March 2024 to treat an algae-impacted pond surrounded by multi-million dollar homes. Previously, the home-owners association had applied copper sulfate to treat the pond with no success. <\/span>Water samples were taken by WaterIQ, and the dominant blue-green algae <\/span>was identified<\/span> as <\/span>Lyngbya.<\/span><\/em> Lyngbya<\/span><\/em> was causing problems with the locals due to its appearance, the poor aroma, and the potential danger to humans and animals. <\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t The Pulsar 4400\u2122 was developed to emit 4400 precise ultrasonic frequencies to target more <\/span>species of<\/span> harmful blue-green algae like <\/span>Lyngbya<\/span><\/em>.<\/span> The Pulsar 4400\u2122 algae control unit emits sound waves in a 360\u00b0 pattern. The unit <\/span>is designed<\/span> to <\/span>be suspended<\/span> below the surface of the water. It is anchored to the bottom of the pond, suspended from the float in the approximate location pre-determined to be the best location in the pond\/water for optimal coverage.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t \n\t\t\t\tAs you can see from the pictures, they show the algae retreating until the lake is almost clear.\u00a0During the same\u00a0period, the temperatures were rising which normally makes the algae much worse.\u00a0The WaterIQ Pulsar was installed on the HOA pond...and the system is\u00a0clearly working\u2026.
